Showcasing the remarkable strength of a local economy driven by over six thousand small enterprises, the diverse winners of the Redcliffe Business Awards have been officially crowned, highlighting everything from marine eco-tourism to booming fashion labels.
A Night of Local Pride

Following the close of general nominations on 30 April, the highly anticipated 2026 awards ceremony took place on 28 May at The Komo on Marine Parade. The event, hosted by the Redcliffe Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and State Member for Redcliffe Kerri-Anne Dooley, brought the community together to celebrate the dedication and innovation of local companies.
Premier David Crisafulli attended the event to help present the honours. Reflecting on the evening, Dooley noted that the event was a spectacular celebration of the peninsula’s business owners, highlighting the need to support the roughly 6500 family and small businesses in the area, especially when many are facing economic challenges.
Health, Tourism, and Community Impact

The independent judging panel sifted through 164 nominations across 10 categories to find the region’s best. In the Health and Wellbeing category, the Redcliffe Tennis and Pickleball Centre took the top prize. The highly active sports facility was recognised for its role in keeping the community engaged through programs ranging from beginner sessions to competitive leagues.

Brisbane Whale Watching secured the Tourism and Accommodation award. Operating from the local jetty, the eco-tourism operator guarantees humpback whale sightings for its guests while donating a portion of every ticket to conservation charities.

The Community Impact award went to Tribe Social Belonging, a registered charity that supports over 15,000 people a year. Headquartered on Sydney Street, the organisation combats loneliness and social isolation by assisting at-risk youth, the elderly, and marginalised groups through social activities and practical programs like driving lessons.
Retail Stars and Home-Grown Success

The major title of Redcliffe Business of the Year was awarded to Orange Sherbet. Founded locally in 2017, the women’s fashion and lifestyle brand began as an online boutique before experiencing massive growth. Driven by local popularity, the inclusive clothing brand expanded from its flagship store on the peninsula to operate several physical locations across Queensland.

Another standout was Feta Juli-Etta, taking home the Best Home Business award. The artisanal food producer was celebrated for crafting fresh, gluten-free marinated feta cheese that sets itself apart from commercial brands by avoiding heavy oil bases. Other category winners included Neli Coffee for best hospitality business, Express Recycling for trades and services, Morgans Seafood for retail, and Youngpreneur Markets by Chloe for the young entrepreneur category. Additionally, the People’s Choice Award, determined entirely by public voting, was awarded to Mrs Collective and Mr Collective.
Looking to the Future
The awards were made possible through the support of local sponsors, including gold sponsor Bendigo Community Bank Margate, alongside various silver and category sponsors. A dedicated three-person panel, featuring representatives from local businesses and the Chamber of Commerce, oversaw the difficult judging process for the general categories.
By recognising these outstanding achievements, the awards program aims to increase visibility for local enterprises and connect them with new opportunities. The search for the next group of exceptional business owners is already on the horizon, with nominations for the 2027 awards scheduled to open in March.
