Reading volunteers program for Queensland schools 'a waste of money'

A children’s reading program previously abolished by the Newman government in 2012 is reinstated, but the Opposition says it’s a costly “slap in the face” for parent and grandparent volunteers who already dedicate their time helping out in schools.
