Police investigating an incident in which a woman on a mobility scooter was robbed at knife-point in Rothwell on April 7 have released COMFIT images of two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.
Investigations indicate the woman was travelling in a park between Delmar and Windlass streets when she was approached by two teenage males around 3.10pm.
They demanded she hand over money before one of them shook the scooter while the other produced a knife and started cutting its canopy.
While defending herself, the woman dropped a small amount of cash from her pocket. The pair grabbed the cash and fled the scene on bicycles.
The woman was not physically injured.
The first male is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, about 18 years of age, approximately 175cm tall with black curly hair.

Police hit the road for high-vis Easter safety blitz
Police will be out in force right across Queensland’s expansive road network today as part of a high-visibility safety blitz ahead of Easter.
Road Policing Command Assistant Commissioner Mike Keating said today’s high-visibility operation was designed to send a strong message to road users.
“The Thursday before Easter – particularly the afternoon – is one of the busiest periods on our roads,” Assistant Commissioner Keating said.
“It’s a time when people spend many hours behind the wheel to get to their holiday destination – so with more people on the roads, travelling longer distances, unfortunately the risk of a serious crashes increases.
“That’s why we will be staging officers from the Road Policing Command in high-risk areas across the state – including major highways.
“Our officers will out there actively enforcing the speed limit, conducting breath tests and checking licences.
“Anyone travelling on the state’s highways today can expect to see police. We know from our

The following information relates generally to road related enforcement operations and statistics reported for the Moreton Police District which includes statistics for Redcliffe, Deception Bay, Burpengary, Caboolture, Bribie Island, Woodford, Kilcoy and Moore Police Divisions. The statistics relate to the week ending on April 9, 2017. The information has been compiled by the Deception Bay Road Policing Unit.
Road Fatalities
As of midnight on April 2 the Queensland road toll is 59 fatalities, three up on last week and three less than the same time last year.
The Southern Police Region, of which Moreton is a member, has had 14 which is six less than last year.
Moreton District is sitting on four fatalities from three crashes, three up on last year.
Operations/Enforcement
Road Policing Officers and Moreton District Officers are actively out and about during the week for the Easter Traffic Campaign. Police will be targeting speed, seatbelts, drink and drug driving, mobile phones and careless driving.
Bribie Island Police weekly wrap up, Tuesday April 11
This week officers from Bribie Island attended four domestic violence incidents. Although this represented a noticeable decrease in reported domestic violence matters this week, domestic violence itself remains a significant issue for our community. Burglary offences continued to be a problem this week, with offences reported at Bestman Avenue, Bongaree, Cosmos Avenue, Banksia Beach, Vanillalily Close, Banksia Beach, Hawaii Court, Banksia Beach and Jacaranda Avenue, Bongaree. In some instances homes were insecure, but in others fly screens were again cut open to gain entry. Officers are actively patrolling the area in response to these offences, so
