Police investigating an incident in which a woman on a mobility scooter was robbed at knife-point in Rothwell on April 7 have released COMFIT images of two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.
Investigations indicate the woman was travelling in a park between Delmar and Windlass streets when she was approached by two teenage males around 3.10pm.
They demanded she hand over money before one of them shook the scooter while the other produced a knife and started cutting its canopy.
While defending herself, the woman dropped a small amount of cash from her pocket. The pair grabbed the cash and fled the scene on bicycles.
The woman was not physically injured.
The first male is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, about 18 years of age, approximately 175cm tall with black curly hair.
