Redcliffe Gears Up for Easter Market Extravaganza

Redcliffe will host over 200 stalls of handcrafted goods, gourmet foods, and Easter-themed activities across two days, offering a community celebration for locals and visitors.



The iconic Redcliffe Markets are set to transform into a vibrant Easter hub with a special Good Friday pop-up market and the regular Sunday market. The weekend promises family-friendly fun. Market organisers have planned various activities designed to engage the community and provide a memorable Easter experience.

Children can look forward to meeting the Easter Bunny and participating in an Easter Scavenger Hunt designed to encourage exploration and discovery within the market. Easter craft activities will also be available, providing opportunities for creative expression. The market will feature live music and entertainment throughout both days, creating a lively atmosphere for attendees.

Over 200 stalls will showcase the work of local designers and makers, offering handmade fashion, unique homewares, and one-of-a-kind gifts. The Good Friday market will coincide with the start of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race, allowing attendees to view the event from the Redcliffe foreshore. Market organisers highlight that this timing provides a unique opportunity to combine market enjoyment with viewing a significant local sporting event.



Market Organisation and Accessibility

Goodwill Projects, a Queensland-based events company, organises the Redcliffe Markets. Market organisers state that the market operates weekly on Sundays, and the Easter events are special additions to the regular schedule. The Good Friday and Easter Sunday markets will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe. Entry and parking are free.

It’s going to be an eggstra-special day for families this Easter as Undersea Putt and Play in Redcliffe prepares an exciting lineup of Easter activities, complete with face painting and the special participation of the Easter Bunny.



Head out to Undersea Putt and Play this Saturday, 8 April 2023 for a day full of exciting Easter-themed activities including an Easter Egg Hunt where you can get a chance to win amazing prizes.

Doors will be open all day but be sure to be at the venue between 12 pm and 3 pm as the Easter Bunny will be hopping by for a special meet and greet appearance plus a face painter will also be there to impress everyone with his unique talent.

About Putt and Play

The venue is a family-friendly precinct packed with fun and exciting adventures. This all-ages entertainment hub features a state-of-the-art 18-hole underwater adventure-themed course with amazing sea creatures including sharks, a sperm whale, mermaids and pirates, a fully licensed cafe and bar and a gaming arcade fitted with more than 30 games.



Undersea Putt and Play is located on the corner of Anzac Avenue and Sutton Street in the Bluewater Square Shopping Centre.

Opening hours are Thursday to Friday from 10 am; and on weekends, school and public holidays from 9 am. The venue is closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday except for School and Public Holidays.

Redcliffe Festival of Sails Returns to Suttons Beach

Expect a seaside gig packed with live music, fun activities, great food and more as the Redcliffe Festival of Sails unfurls at Suttons Beach on Good Friday. Best of all, entry is FREE!





On Good Friday, the 15th of April 2022, a day of Easter-themed entertainment and activities await families from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as the annual Redcliffe Festival of Sails returns. 

Kids and adults alike are sure to have a grand time at the festival which will feature a host of activities including seven stages of live music, kids zone, sand sculptures by Dennis Massoud of Sand In Your Eyes. There will also be an Easter Bunny meet and greet and Easter Bunny’s Easter egg hunt plus market stalls, pop-up ice cream fair and other fun activities.

Be sure to arrive early to secure the perfect spot to watch the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race which enters its 74th year this 2022. The annual Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race is considered one of Australia’s largest yacht races. Witness entrants set sail from Shorncliffe to the North West Channel up to Caloundra and through to Gladstone as they compete for the Courier Mail Cup.
