Redcliffe Gears Up for a Spooktacular Community Night by the Sea

Families and friends across Moreton Bay are set to descend on Redcliffe’s picturesque foreshore for a night of Halloween-themed fun, as the coastal community transforms into a bustling hub of spooky celebration and local spirit at the annual Festival of Frights.



The Redcliffe Festival of Frights will take place on Saturday, 25 October, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. along Redcliffe Parade. Entry is free, making it one of the region’s most accessible community events.

A Community Celebration with a Spooky Twist

Now in its fifth year, the Festival of Frights continues to grow as one of Redcliffe’s most anticipated seasonal events, drawing locals and visitors alike to the waterfront. This year’s twilight market promises more than 200 stalls featuring handmade crafts, Halloween-inspired treasures, sweet treats, and gourmet street food from across South-East Queensland. Attendees can expect live music, DJ performances, roving Halloween characters, and a lively atmosphere designed to bring people of all ages together.

The celebration is more than just costumes and candy — it is an opportunity for the Redcliffe community to showcase local creativity, support small businesses, and come together for a shared experience. The Festival of Frights is presented by Redcliffe Markets, an iconic seaside marketplace known for its vibrant Sunday gatherings featuring over 200 stalls from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is organised by Goodwill Projects, one of Queensland’s leading market and event companies, known for curating community-focused experiences that highlight local talent and foster neighbourhood connection.

The much-loved Redcliffe Markets is hosting its annual Festival of Frights on Saturday, 25 October, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, promising an evening that’s equal parts spooky and spectacular.

The twilight celebration has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated Halloween events, drawing families, foodies, and costume-lovers alike. This year, the markets are set to brim with more than 200 stalls, ranging from handmade Halloween trinkets to sweet treats and gourmet street eats from across South-East Queensland.

While the stalls offer plenty to browse, buy and taste, it’s the atmosphere that truly makes the event memorable. Live entertainment will fill the night air, stilt walkers and whimsical fairies will roam the foreshore, and children can join in themed activities including a scavenger hunt and the always-popular Best Dressed Competition.

What’s a festival without treasures galore? Redcliffe Market’s 200 stalls offer handmade artisan goods and vintage finds. Shop for beautiful jewellery from Blossom or scented candles from Awesome Candles

Redcliffe Markets Unleash a Fa-Boo-Lous Festival of Frights

Round up the little monsters and come dressed in your scariest costumes for a fa-boo-lous Festival of Frights at the Redcliffe Markets! This spook-tacular night of fun will be packed with activities for young and old souls looking for a ghouly good time.



Happening Saturday, 30 Oct 2021, the Redcliffe Markets Festival of Frights will run from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Redcliffe Farmers and Artisan Markets on Redcliffe Parade. 

Guests can expect the following fun things to do and try to entertain and delight all the ghouls and boys!

  • Trick Or Treating for the little monsters
  • Explosive display of Fireworks
  • Sideshow Alley for wicked prizes
  • Spooky decorations and stalls
  • Fiendishly good Street Food
  • Halloween inspired Jumping Castle & Face Painting
  • Live Music and entertainment

This is a free and safe event but you will need to register for the tickets. Paid parking will be accommodated at Pearson Park or Klinger Road.

Meanwhile, the regular Sunday market will continue at the Redcliffe Markets from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. From December to February, the summer markets will open from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
