Recycle, Upcycle, and Go Vintage at Redcliffe’s Good Vibes Garage Sale

One of the best cafes in Redcliffe, Good Vibes Espresso Australia, will celebrate the opening of the new shop of Mad Hatter Enterprises at the corner of Anzac Avenue and Sutton Street. Together with the Turn the Page – Book Realm, this cafe, known for sourcing its coffee beans locally, will organise a Suitcase Rummage-themed garage sale this Saturday, the 30th of September at the Good Vibes. The garage sale will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Inspired by the “Suitcase Rummage”, a mini-market with suitcases filled with goods to the brim, the garage sale will go vintage. Second-hand wares and vintage items can be spotted at the garage sale. Different stalls will open up and bring you back in time.

Bring your kids and the whole family for the free face painting, food stalls that will serve both vegan and non-vegan options, and Good Vibes’ best coffee on the menu.

Interested stall applicants can secure a spot for $15. Contact the event organisers for further details.

Recycle, Upcycle, and Go Vintage!

Why go vintage? Classics never go out of style! Vintage is unique and one-of-a-kind. Vintage items are anywhere from 20 to 80 years old. These older items were produced in much smaller quantities, making these items rare and hard to find.

The Mad Hatter Enterprises will open a new home near the Good Vibes Espresso Australia and Turn the Page – Book Realm. To celebrate this, they’ll be opening up on the day of the garage sale. They are specialising in recycling, reusing, and upcycling of vintage items and make it available to the market again. They’ll source used items (with great value) and add more value to them by rethinking the design and purpose.

Turn the Page – Book Realm

Turn the Page – Book Realm is also a part of the garage sale. They formerly traded as RENU Books, until one of the employees bought RENU and rebranded it as “Turn the Page – Book Realm”. The bookstore is also “vintage” as they offer a lot of pre-loved books of every genre that are very low priced. They take donations and are running an exchange program. Donate a book and get a 50% off on the book purchase.

If you feel like hanging out for a while, they have stools and couches that you can lounge on. You can curl up on a couch and preview a book, or rest a while, from hunting for that elusive title. Going with the kids? No worries. They have a dedicated room for kids to play and read.

Want to be in style? Go vintage! Visit the event page for more information about this big vintage garage sale in Redcliffe.
