Five-Storey Redcliffe Healthcare Hub Set for Development Across Moreton Hospital

The Redcliffe Healthcare Hub, a new five-storey healthcare facility, is set for development at 101 Anzac Avenue, directly across from the busy Moreton hospital. Keymax North Lakes Pty Ltd has already lodged plans for it.

The proposed site, currently occupied by a residential property scheduled for demolition, aims to enhance local healthcare infrastructure. The hub will encompass a gross floor area of 1,282 sqm, incorporating medical facilities such as a GP clinic, dental services, and radiology, alongside two levels dedicated to parking, as detailed in the development application (DA 2024/0596).

The ground level will host essential services, including a café and a pharmacy, while the upper floors will accommodate a variety of medical tenancies. Each level is strategically designed with large windows to maintain a connection with the street, promoting an engaging streetscape.

Accessibility and patient convenience are at the forefront of the hub’s design. The building will feature an ambulance bay, disability access, and robust connectivity via Anzac Avenue. In alignment with modern architectural standards, the building will also include acoustic mitigation measures and aesthetic landscaping to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding residential areas.

The development is designed to provide medical services and enhance the local environment and community interaction. The hub’s design includes protective landscaping and streetscape improvements along Anzac Avenue and Percy Street, aiming to enrich the locality’s visual appeal and pedestrian experience.

The healthcare centre’s operational hours are planned from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Keymax has already initiated leasing advertisements, offering flexible tenancy options from 78 sqm. These arrangements come with various benefits, such as prominent signage opportunities and strategic placements conducive to high visibility and accessibility.

This ambitious project aims to significantly improve healthcare accessibility for the Redcliffe community, aligning with the broader urban development goals of the Moreton Bay region. With construction expected to be completed by late next year, the Redcliffe Healthcare Hub is set to become a cornerstone of local healthcare services.
